The importance of tourism for countries such as Armenia is difficult to overestimate, and the state seems to pay great attention to this sector. Separately high growth shows such a direction as game tourism, said Darren Keane, Storm International CEO.

So, within the framework of the state concept of tourism development in Armenia, many programs have been implemented to eliminate transport problems, to develop the hotel and restaurant business, and so on. Every year, up to several dozen restaurants open in Armenia, old ones are being restored and new hotels are being built.

Also, more attention was paid to the training of qualified personnel, in particular, tour guides, interpreters, since the intellectual component of the local tourist product is extremely high.

In parallel to the state initiatives, work is also being done at the level of various charitable foundations that provide great support in the restoration of museum complexes and roads. Nevertheless, despite the steps taken, this area needs constant attention and adjustment.

A significant part of the development of tourism is the increase in the number of international flights Yerevan.
